Laid-Back Camp The Movie

Rin Shima has relocated from her hometown in Yamanashi to Nagoya, where she now lives independently and works for a small publishing company. During a winter weekend in the near future, while preparing for a motorcycle trip, she receives an unexpected message from Chiaki Oogaki, a former high school classmate who happens to be visiting Nagoya. Chiaki is currently employed by a tourism promotion organization in Yamanashi and has been assigned to revitalize a large property that was shut down several years earlier. When Rin casually remarks that the expansive site would make an excellent campground, her offhand comment sparks a brilliant idea. Inspired by the suggestion, Chiaki reunites their old camping circle to bring the ambitious project to life. She reaches out to Nadeshiko Kagamihara, who now works at an outdoor equipment store in Tokyo; Aoi Inuyama, an elementary school teacher back home in Yamanashi; and Ena Saitou, who manages a dog grooming salon in Yokohama. Together, the five friends embark on a brand-new adventure, channeling the expertise they have accumulated since their youth. Bound once again by their shared passion for the outdoors, the group sets out to transform the abandoned facility into a welcoming destination, proving that the friendships forged around the campfire continue to thrive well into adulthood.
