Zombie Land Saga Gaiden: The First Zombie

Eikichi Hyodo is a second-year high school student and the eldest son of a family dedicated to onion farming. Once a passionate member of his school's Baseball Club, he was forced to withdraw after suffering an injury that derailed his athletic ambitions. Stripped of his primary drive, Eikichi now views his daily existence as entirely unremarkable, drifting through life without motivation or a clear sense of purpose. In stark contrast to his brother's stagnation, Eikichi's twin older sister, Yuko, thrives in excellent health and stands poised to inherit the family's agricultural business. While Eikichi struggles to find meaning in his mundane routine, Yuko confidently prepares for her future role within their household. The siblings' diverging paths seem set until an unexpected disruption shatters their ordinary lives. One day, Yuko vanishes completely without leaving behind a single trace, plunging Eikichi into a sudden mystery and forcing him to confront a reality far beyond the quiet rural world he has come to know.
