Sakuraba is a university student, yet his youthful appearance tells an entirely different story. With his notably short stature and remarkably innocent face, he is constantly mistaken for someone far younger than his actual age. This deceptive exterior leads to an unexpected complication one night when he is walking home after attending a drinking party with friends. During his journey back, Sakuraba crosses paths with Amasawa, a diligent police officer on patrol. Taking one look at the young man, Amasawa immediately assumes he is dealing with a minor who has broken curfew by being out too late in the evening. The officer nearly detains him for the perceived infraction, completely unaware that Sakuraba is legally old enough to have been consuming alcohol just moments before. However, as their brief confrontation unfolds, Amasawa begins to notice something strangely familiar about the college student. Rather than ending as a simple misunderstanding between a law enforcement officer and a passerby, this chance encounter sparks an unusual connection between them.
