Summer Time Rendering

Summer Time Rendering is a suspenseful science fiction story set during the summer on a small, isolated island. After two years away, Shinpei Aijiro returns to his hometown to attend the funeral of his childhood friend, Ushio Kofune, whose sudden death casts a long shadow over the community. What begins as a solemn homecoming quickly takes a darker turn when Shinpei's best friend, Sou Hishigata, voices grave suspicions about the circumstances surrounding Ushio's passing. Sou fears that her death was no accident and warns that someone else could be next. The tension escalates rapidly as unsettling events begin to unfold across the island. A sinister omen echoes through the area, followed by the inexplicable disappearance of an entire neighboring family the very next day. Adding to the mounting dread, Mio reveals a chilling detail: just three days before she died, Ushio spoke of encountering a mysterious "shadow." As these disturbing clues converge, Shinpei finds himself trapped in a growing nightmare, forced to uncover the truth behind the strange phenomena threatening his home before more lives are lost.
