Nobunaga Concerto

Saburo has always dismissed history as a pointless subject, seeing no value in studying events that unfolded centuries ago. His indifference is abruptly shattered when a fall from a wall propels him through a wormhole, depositing him directly into sixteenth-century Japan. Stranded in an unfamiliar era, he soon crosses paths with a young Oda Nobunaga, a figure destined to become one of the most influential leaders in Japanese history. In a bewildering twist of fate, the two share an identical appearance. Burdened by the rigid confines of castle life and eager to explore the world beyond his domain, the real Nobunaga seizes this opportunity. He commands Saburo to assume his identity, leaving the modern teenager with no knowledge of how to return to his own time. Thrust into the role of a legendary warlord, Saburo must navigate the treacherous political landscape of ancient Japan while desperately striving to ensure that the historical timeline of the infamous Oda Nobunaga remains intact. This acclaimed series was honored with the 57th Shogakukan Manga Award in the shounen category.
