Smoker

Okabe is a gay man working in the Mechanic Department who struggles to remember people's names and faces, a lingering psychological scar left behind by deeply painful romantic experiences in his past. His quiet daily routine takes an unexpected turn when the shared smoking area used by the Sales and General Affairs departments is temporarily closed for construction. As a result, employees from those divisions begin gathering in the Mechanic Department's designated smoking space instead. For Okabe, this sudden influx of colleagues offers an unanticipated delight: he finds himself surrounded by sharply dressed men in suits, a type he has always been drawn to. However, his enjoyment is abruptly shattered when one familiar face cuts through his usual memory fog. Standing among the suited newcomers is a man Okabe recognizes instantly—the stranger he once shared a fleeting one-night stand with after meeting him at a bar. Confronted by the ghost of a brief, forgotten encounter, Okabe must navigate the sudden collision of his guarded workplace life and his vulnerable romantic history.
