Ya Boy Kongming!

Through the forces of fate and reincarnation, Kongming, a brilliant military strategist from ancient China's era of relentless warfare, is transported nearly two millennia into the future. With his final breath in his past life, he wished to be reborn in a world defined by peace and prosperity rather than conflict. Instead of a quiet existence, however, he awakens in Shibuya City, Tokyo, a vibrant modern hub known for its electrifying nightlife and bustling party scene. Navigating this unfamiliar era proves challenging until Kongming crosses paths with Eiko, an amateur musician harboring ambitious dreams of stardom. Together, they form an unlikely but deeply complementary partnership. Eiko provides the street smarts necessary to help the ancient tactician understand the complexities of contemporary society, while Kongming applies his unparalleled strategic genius to guide her musical career toward success. Their unique alliance bridges centuries of history, transforming a battle-hardened commander into an unexpected mentor in the competitive world of entertainment. An advanced online screening of the first episode was held on March 31, 2022, before the weekly television broadcast officially began on April 5, 2022.
