Sabae is Just a Friend, Maybe

Nokichi is an ordinary university student whose daily life revolves around his close friendship with Sabae, a brash and tomboyish young woman who has always treated him like one of the guys. Their dynamic is entirely platonic, built on casual banter and shared experiences across campus. However, their comfortable routine takes an unexpected turn when the two decide to go out for drinks so that Nokichi can seek her advice regarding a complicated romantic matter. What begins as a simple consultation over alcohol quickly spirals into uncharted territory. Acting on a sudden whim, the surprisingly well-endowed Sabae makes a bold and intimate advance toward her bewildered friend. This impulsive gesture shatters the boundaries of their long-standing relationship, leaving Nokichi completely at a loss as to how he should interpret her actions. He is forced to grapple with a confusing dilemma: was her move merely an extension of their roughhousing friendship, or did it signal a genuine shift toward something deeply romantic and physical? Caught between his preconceived notions of who Sabae is and the startling new reality of her behavior, Nokichi must navigate the blurred lines separating camaraderie from desire. As misunderstandings multiply and tensions rise, the curtain falls on their once-predictable college days, ushering in an absurdly chaotic chapter of campus life that neither of them could have ever anticipated.
