Kyoka is an ordinary office worker whose daily routine takes an unexpected turn when she develops genuine romantic feelings for Wataru, a colleague working at the same company. Eager to pursue a relationship with him, she finds her hopes complicated by a deeply unsettling supernatural obstacle. Rather than simply navigating the usual challenges of workplace romance, Kyoka discovers that she has become the unwilling host for a lingering spirit. The entity possessing her body is none other than Madoka, Wataru’s former girlfriend, whose attachment to him extends far beyond the grave. Determined to claim her own future and win Wataru’s heart, Kyoka resolves to fight back against the spectral intruder. However, Madoka proves to be a relentless presence, actively sabotaging Kyoka’s every attempt to grow closer to the man they both desire. The ex-girlfriend's spirit constantly interferes in Kyoka's love life, turning what should be a budding romance into a desperate struggle for control over her own body and destiny. As Kyoka searches for a way to finally exorcise Madoka and free herself from this unwanted possession, she soon realizes that severing the ties between Wataru and his past will demand far more than she ever anticipated.
