Umamusume: Pretty Derby - 1st Anniversary Special Animation

First revealed during the "Paka Live TV Vol.14 1st Anniversary Special!" broadcast on the Pakatube! channel, this commemorative short animation celebrates the first anniversary of the Uma Musume: Pretty Derby mobile game. The story centers on two promising newcomers, Kitasan Black and Satono Diamond, as they step into a defining new chapter of their lives. Set against the vibrant backdrop of spring, the narrative opens with the entrance ceremony at the prestigious Tracen Academy, where young horse girls gather to hone their talents and chase greatness on the racetrack. Though they arrive together, the two protagonists carry vastly different motivations into their academy years. Kitasan Black begins her journey without a clear vision for her future, yet she embraces the opportunity with a completely clean slate, determined to discover and pursue her own aspirations. In contrast, Satono Diamond arrives driven by a deeply rooted sense of duty, aiming to secure victory in a GI race to finally fulfill a long-cherished wish held by her family for generations. As both girls set off on their respective paths, their hearts are filled with boundless hope and determination. However, the grueling world of competitive racing guarantees nothing, leaving the ultimate outcome of their journeys entirely unwritten as they sprint toward their dreams.
