Tempest

Nearly two thousand years ago, a catastrophic solar storm eradicated the Y chromosome, leading to the complete extinction of the male population. To ensure the continuation of humanity, women developed a groundbreaking biological method to cross-fertilize their ova with one another. For millennia, this all-female society thrived in a world entirely without men. That fragile equilibrium shatters when a boy named Hime is suddenly born. Kept hidden from a civilization that has never known males, he grows up yearning for nothing more than an ordinary life as a girl and desperately wishes to reveal his true identity to Kou, the person he deeply loves. However, Hime’s unprecedented existence coincides with a terrifying new crisis: the chromosomal decay that once destroyed the male sex now appears to be spreading to women. Facing the potential collapse of their entire species, researchers work frantically to find a path back to naturally giving birth to men once again. As scientists investigate whether long-preserved frozen sperm might hold the key to humanity's salvation, Hime must navigate his hidden identity, his profound love for Kou, and a rapidly deteriorating world teetering on the edge of annihilation.
