Slow Loop

Feeling anxious about meeting her new stepfather, Hiyori retreats to the one place where she has always found comfort: the ocean. It is here that she encounters a curious girl named Koharu. Seeking a meaningful connection, Hiyori decides to teach Koharu how to fish, passing down the very skills her late father taught her before his passing. What begins as a simple lesson by the water soon takes an unexpected turn. During their time together, Koharu casually mentions that she, too, is preparing to meet her new family later that evening. This shared detail sparks a startling realization between the two girls regarding the true nature of their impending encounter. The revelation completely transforms what they believed would be a fleeting interaction with a stranger. As the truth settles in, Hiyori and Koharu understand that their chance meeting at the shoreline was far more significant than either could have anticipated. Bound together by both loss and a shared future, their newfound friendship is poised to evolve into something far deeper and more permanent than either of them ever expected.
