Saigo no Saiyuuki

When third-grader Ryunosuke returns home from school one ordinary day, his life takes an unexpected turn. His father introduces him to a young girl named Koharu and explains that she will be joining their family as his new little sister, effective immediately. This sudden addition to the household is far from conventional, setting the stage for a deeply unusual domestic reality that challenges everything the young boy thought he knew about his world. Koharu is unlike any child Ryunosuke has ever encountered. She is completely blind, and both her arms and legs are prosthetic replacements. Yet beneath her fragile exterior lies something extraordinary: she harbors a mysterious power that defies all human comprehension. The nature and extent of this ability remain shrouded in enigma, hinting at forces far greater than anything found in everyday life. What begins as a simple family introduction quickly spirals into something much grander. Bound together by fate, Ryunosuke and his remarkable new sister are drawn into a bizarre and fantastic journey. Reimagining a timeless legend for a modern audience, this narrative unfolds as a striking new-generation tale inspired by the classic Saiyuki mythos, blending everyday childhood with otherworldly wonder.
