Hula Fulla Dance

Hiwa Natsunagi is a high school student in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, who feels uncertain about her future after graduation. Seeking direction, she notices a recruitment poster for Spa Resort Hawaiians, a local entertainment venue famously known as the Hawaii of Tohoku. Remembering that her older sister Mari once worked there, Hiwa impulsively applies to become one of their new hula dancers. Despite having no prior experience, she is accepted and begins training alongside her classmates Kanna, Ranko, Ohana, and Shion. The five girls quickly discover that their contrasting personalities make it nearly impossible to dance in unison, resulting in a disastrous debut performance. Labeled the most pitiful rookies ever seen at the resort, the group struggles with deep disappointment. Yet, rather than giving up, they begin sharing both their triumphs and frustrations, gradually forging a stronger bond through every stumble along the way. Through patience and mutual support, the young dancers learn to synchronize not only their movements but also their spirits. With renewed determination and unwavering resolve, Hiwa and her friends return to the stage, ready to prove themselves. Embracing this transformative journey, Hiwa declares her lifelong devotion to the art of hula.
