Taisho Otome Fairy Tale

Shima Tamahiko considers himself a bitter pessimist with little affection for the world around him, and his cynicism is far from unfounded. Born into a wealthy family, he has been cast aside and exiled to a remote countryside estate solely because of a physical disability. Stripped of his former life and abandoned by those who should have supported him, Tamahiko resigns himself to a quiet, isolated existence, convinced that he has no place in society and nothing left to hope for. His bleak routine is unexpectedly disrupted by the arrival of Tachibana Yuzuki, a young woman introduced as his arranged bride. Unlike Tamahiko, Yuzuki radiates warmth and optimism, approaching her new life and her reluctant husband with unwavering cheerfulness. Rather than being burdened by his resentment or his condition, she meets his hostility with genuine kindness and patience. Set against the historical backdrop of Japan’s Taisho era, this gentle slice-of-life romance chronicles the evolving bond between two unlikely partners. As Yuzuki gradually integrates herself into his secluded world, her persistent compassion begins to chip away at the walls Tamahiko has built around himself. Through their daily interactions, her radiant spirit slowly mends his broken heart, offering him a chance at healing and a reason to embrace life once more.
