Yuki-doke no Netsu

Takaharu’s life takes an unexpected turn when he falls deeply in love at first sight with a girl named Mifuyu. From the moment their eyes meet, he is captivated by her presence, yet his newfound feelings are immediately met with an unusual barrier. Mifuyu refers to herself as a "snow maiden," firmly insisting that she is entirely incapable of experiencing romantic love. This self-imposed identity casts her as someone emotionally unreachable, wrapped in an icy detachment that seems impossible to penetrate. Determined not to let this strange declaration deter him, Takaharu resolves to pursue her despite the emotional distance she maintains. He finds himself facing a profound personal dilemma: how does one court someone who has already convinced herself that affection is beyond her reach? The central conflict of the story revolves around Takaharu’s earnest efforts to break through Mifuyu’s defenses and prove that her frozen heart can indeed be thawed. As he navigates the delicate space between persistence and respect, the narrative explores whether genuine warmth and unwavering devotion will ultimately be enough to melt the ice surrounding her emotions and awaken a love she believes she cannot feel.
