GLOOMY THE NAUGHTY GRIZZLY

Gloomy is the pet bear of a young man named Pity. Standing just over six feet tall and weighing as much as two thousand pomegranates, this massive grizzly is an imposing presence in his owner’s daily life. While Gloomy is well trained in most respects, he suffers from one persistent and dangerous flaw: he can never quite remember that attacking humans is strictly forbidden. This unpredictable behavior creates a constant underlying tension in their relationship, transforming what should be simple pet ownership into a challenging test of patience and vigilance. Despite the ever-present danger, Pity remains deeply devoted to his oversized companion. He firmly believes that a pet owner must accept ultimate responsibility for his animals, regardless of their shortcomings. Whenever Gloomy’s wild instincts surface, Pity finds solace by recalling warm memories of the grizzly as an adorable, harmless bear cub. Clinging to those cherished moments, Pity continually strives to guide Gloomy toward better behavior. Ultimately, the series follows Pity’s heartfelt efforts to lead a life of peaceful coexistence with his beloved but undeniably naughty pet bear.
