During the final summer of middle school, Shoutarou Futaba discovers the world of boys' gymnastics and is immediately captivated by its grace and intensity. There, he is welcomed by a group of highly distinctive upperclassmen and introduced to Misato Ryouya, a remarkably talented star gymnast whose skills leave a lasting impression.
