Yun Seung-Ha is a promising young swimmer from the countryside whose life takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with Choi Seol, a mysterious girl from the city. Their first encounter by a quiet lake sparks an immediate bond, and the two quickly become inseparable. Throughout their childhood, they lean on one another for support, navigating the formative years of their lives as steadfast companions in a world that often feels uncertain. However, their idyllic connection is abruptly shattered when unforeseen circumstances force them apart. For several long years, Seung-Ha and Seol must navigate their separate lives without the comfort of each other’s presence, leaving the memories of their time by the lake to fade into the past. The distance between them stretches far beyond geography, reshaping who they are during their most crucial years of growth. Fate eventually intervenes, bringing the two back together as high school students. Yet the reunion is far from simple. Time has changed them both profoundly, replacing the familiar children they once were with near strangers carrying new burdens and hidden depths. As they attempt to bridge the gap created by years of silence, a lingering question remains: beneath all the changes time has wrought, will they be able to recognize and truly see each other for who they really are?
