One-sided Love x Alliance

Akito’s heart was stolen the very first time he laid eyes on Kiriya, a part-time mathematics instructor, from his usual vantage point on the school rooftop. Although the two have never exchanged a single word, Akito finds himself eagerly anticipating every opportunity to quietly observe the teacher from afar. His silent routine is shattered one day when he spots Kiriya weeping alone. Overcome with concern and panic, Akito rushes over and blurts out a desperate request for math tutoring, using it as an excuse to finally bridge the distance between them. As their impromptu lessons bring them closer, Akito uncovers a painful truth: Kiriya’s tears stem from unrequited feelings for another teacher at their school. Despite the sting of this revelation, Akito refuses to surrender his own affections. Instead of retreating, he makes a bold proposition to the heartbroken instructor. Recognizing that they are both suffering from one-sided love, Akito suggests they form a unique alliance—a pact to support each other through the turmoil of loving someone who does not yet look their way.
