Morning Kiss

The Tachibana brothers operate a family-run newspaper agency, navigating both professional pressures and complicated personal lives in the absence of their parents. Yasutaka, the eldest sibling, prioritizes pleasure over business yet shoulders the responsibility of managing the agency. His younger brother Kei serves as the dependable counterpart, though his focus is frequently challenged by encounters with Taira, a charismatic rival from a competing publication. Beneath their professional animosity, an undeniable mutual attraction develops between Kei and Taira, forcing both men to question whether they can transcend their rivalry to embrace a genuine romantic connection. Years before these events unfold, Yasutaka repeatedly rescues a young man named Tooru, eventually accepting an invitation into his home. Although Tooru’s affection for his savior quickly blossoms, Yasutaka remains romantically indifferent. However, after a third rescue, Yasutaka realizes he cannot simply abandon the young man, leaving him to confront whether Tooru’s growing devotion might finally break through his emotional detachment. Meanwhile, the middle brother Yukihiro grapples with his conflicted feelings regarding his siblings’ same-sex relationships. Seeking distraction, he becomes an art model for Yomo-sensei, only to discover that his internal turmoil may stem not from denial, but from deeply buried personal desires.
