After enjoying a memorable Christmas camping trip with her newly formed circle of friends, Rin Shima sets out on a solitary journey to welcome the New Year. Her destination is the coastline, where she hopes to witness the first sunrise of the year in peaceful isolation. Initially, the excursion unfolds exactly as she envisioned, offering the quiet solitude she cherishes. However, unexpected weather conditions soon disrupt her carefully laid plans, rendering the roads impassable and making it impossible for her to return home. Stranded far from her usual surroundings for several days, Rin finds herself at a crossroads until Nadeshiko Kagamihara extends a warm invitation. She offers Rin a place to stay at her grandmother’s house, transforming an unforeseen predicament into a welcoming retreat. What was originally intended as a brief two-day getaway gradually evolves into an extended period of exploration and discovery. As Rin navigates this unfamiliar stretch of time, she engages in local sightseeing and embraces new experiences, crossing paths with both familiar companions and entirely new faces along the way.
