Born with an extraordinary magical gift, the young heroine of this story possesses the rare ability to channel her innate power to magic users, who otherwise lack any energy of their own. Fearing the potential consequences of such a unique talent, her teacher sealed her abilities away using two specific artifacts: a ring and a bracelet. Determined to reclaim what was taken from her, she embarks on a solitary journey toward a sacred temple where the seals can finally be broken. Along the road, she falls victim to thieves attempting to rob her of her money as well as the very ring and bracelet that bind her powers. She is unexpectedly rescued by two magic users who intervene just in time. Despite harboring a deep-seated distrust toward those who wield magic, she finds herself indebted to them and reluctantly agrees to continue her travels by their side.
