Hanako is a dedicated employee at a small publishing company who navigates her daily routine while managing a mild communication disorder. This condition makes traditional social interactions challenging, particularly when it comes to romantic relationships with men. As someone who has never experienced real-life romance, she occupies a unique space in the world of dating, existing as an outsider looking in on the complexities of love and courtship that others seem to navigate with ease. Despite these personal hurdles, Hanako leads a surprisingly rich and fulfilling life every single day. Her secret lies not in overcoming her communication barriers in the physical world, but in the boundless landscape of her own imagination. Rather than feeling deprived by her lack of real-world romantic experience, she discovers genuine joy through vivid internal fantasies that keep her heart engaged and her spirit lifted without ever requiring her to speak a word aloud. Whenever she encounters a new man during her daily routines—whether passing by on the street or crossing paths briefly at work—Hanako immediately falls into a deep, delusional infatuation within the safety of her mind. These intense, self-contained romances allow her to experience the thrill of falling in love entirely on her own terms, transforming ordinary moments into extraordinary emotional adventures that no one else will ever witness.
