Boukyaku Battery

During their middle school years, an exceptionally talented ace pitcher and his brilliant partner catcher formed a formidable battery on the baseball diamond. Their dynamic duo was widely recognized for its extraordinary potential, yet both players vanished from the competitive sports world without warning or explanation. Their sudden departure left many wondering what could have driven such promising athletes away from the game they had mastered together. The mystery behind their disappearance is eventually revealed when the two resurface at a high school that notably lacks any baseball program. The reason for their unexpected withdrawal from the sport proves to be deeply personal and tragic. The once-genius catcher has suffered a complete loss of memory, erasing not only his recollection of their past victories but also his sharp intellect and strategic brilliance. Stripped of his former mental acuity, the catcher now behaves as a clueless buffoon, entirely disconnected from the player he used to be. This dramatic transformation forces the ace pitcher into a profound dilemma. He must navigate life at a school with no team while grappling with the painful reality that his irreplaceable partner no longer remembers who they were together, leaving him to face an uncertain future without the one person who understood his talent.
