Shoegazing

Though the war has officially ended, its shadows continue to loom over Luhan. He remains deeply tormented by the memories of what he endured, driven by a singular, desperate desire to erase his past entirely. For him, forgetting is not merely a preference but a necessary means of survival in a world that has already taken too much. In stark contrast stands Devon, a war photographer whose very profession demands that nothing be forgotten. When he unexpectedly discovers Luhan standing precariously on the edge of a hotel balcony, Devon is compelled to raise his camera rather than look away. This fateful encounter binds two men with opposing needs—one desperate to escape his history, the other determined to document it. Together, they manage to navigate the fragile aftermath of conflict, forging an uneasy path forward side by side. Yet their shared survival proves to be only a temporary reprieve. As they attempt to build a life beyond the devastation they have witnessed, the buried realities of their experiences begin to surface. The fragile peace they have constructed is threatened as the truth inevitably catches up to them, forcing both men to confront the very things they sought to either bury or capture through a lens.
