I'm home, Chibigodzilla

The "Chibi Godzilla" project was created as a special commemorative initiative to honor the sixty-fifth anniversary of Toho's legendary Godzilla franchise. Designed to celebrate this historic milestone, the production brings a fresh and endearing perspective to one of cinema's most iconic monsters, reimagining the towering creature in a charming miniature form for an entirely new animated experience. Presented as a series of animated shorts under the title I'm home, Chibigodzilla, the ONA shifts away from epic battles and urban destruction to focus instead on a much more intimate scale. The narrative follows the everyday routine of a diminutive version of the famous beast, affectionately known as Chibi Godzilla. Rather than terrorizing cities, this tiny creature resides in the modest home of Satomi, an ordinary office worker. Together, they navigate the quiet rhythms of domestic life, with the animated episodes capturing the lighthearted and gentle moments that unfold within their shared household. Through its unique premise, the series offers a delightful contrast to the franchise's traditional grandeur, grounding its beloved monster in the simple warmth of daily companionship.
