Grand Sun

In a near-future Japan where law enforcement has deteriorated to the point of irrelevance, hiring private bodyguards has become an absolute necessity for survival. Amid this dangerous new era, Asahi is hired to protect Kisaragi Sakuya, the exceptionally talented heir to a wealthy and influential family. Raised in the bustling downtown districts of Tokyo, Asahi possesses a deeply compassionate nature that sharply contrasts with the perilous world she now navigates as a professional protector. Her assignment proves far more challenging than any physical threat. Sakuya maintains an utterly cold and unyielding demeanor, presenting an emotional barrier that tests Asahi’s patience and resolve at every turn. Despite her inherent warmth and determination, Asahi must constantly question whether her strength of character will be enough to withstand her employer's icy disposition over time. The friction between the heartfelt guardian and the detached heiress forms the core of their evolving dynamic. Grand Sun delivers a powerful shoujo romance built upon this compelling premise. It weaves together the high-stakes tension of a bodyguard thriller with the delicate complexities of an unlikely relationship, exploring whether genuine compassion can ultimately thaw even the coldest of hearts.
