ChäoS;HEAd

Set in Shibuya in 2008, ChäoS;HEAd follows Takumi Nishijou, a high school student at the private Suimei Academy who remains entirely detached from current events. Recently, the district has been shaken by a series of bizarre incidents d믭 the "New Generation" cases by the media and public. The first, known as "Group Dive," involved five high school students leaping to their deaths from a tall tower on September 7th. Twelve days later, a man was discovered dead with a thirty-two-week-old fetus surgically placed inside his abdomen. The story begins on September 28th when Takumi chats online with a friend named Grim, who must fill him in on these disturbing New Generation crimes due to Takumi's complete disinterest in news. After Grim leaves the chatroom, a silent user named Shōgun suddenly confronts Takumi, bombarding him with image links depicting a horrific murder. The following afternoon, while walking home from an internet cafe, Takumi stumbles upon the exact gruesome scene he saw in Shōgun's photographs. He encounters a blood-soaked girl with pink hair wearing his academy's uniform before fleeing in terror. From this moment, Takumi desperately attempts to distance himself from Shōgun and the escalating murders, only to find himself gradually ensnared in a much larger, sinister conspiracy.
