The Man Who Lives Only When He Dies

Burdened by harsh living conditions and a relentless, bleak routine, young Jung Woo-jin finds himself entirely stripped of any sense of purpose. Overwhelmed by despair, he ultimately reaches his breaking point and decides to end his life. At this critical juncture, a grim reaper materializes, drawn directly to the young man's impending death. Sensing an opportunity, the entity proposes a seductive yet perilous proposition: for every week Woo-jin successfully manages to die in a completely unique way, he will be awarded 100 million won. However, this financial incentive comes with a severe condition. If he fails to orchestrate his own demise within the designated seven-day period, the reaper will step in and execute him personally. This sets the stage for a bizarre and twisted new existence. To maintain his newfound livelihood, Woo-jin finds himself trapped in a high-stakes paradox where he is forced to continually court death in order to survive.
