Upon My Sword

Defeating the notorious monster Hilkiya was meant to be Leo’s crowning achievement. As the proud commander of the Order of Floress, she expected glory, but her victory instead brought a devastating curse. Her body is now plagued by an unrelenting hunger that can only be eased through physical contact with another person. What should have been a triumphant return quickly becomes a harrowing ordeal as Leo struggles to maintain control over her own flesh and mind. For a warrior of her caliber, sheer determination has always been enough to overcome any obstacle. Yet this affliction defies logic, severing the harmony between her disciplined thoughts and her betraying body. As primal urges steadily erode her formidable willpower, the once-unstoppable commander finds herself trapped in a deeply vulnerable state. Each night brings a renewed battle against instincts she cannot suppress, leaving her desperate for someone to whom she can finally surrender. The greatest fighter in the order must now confront an enemy far more intimate and relentless than any beast she has ever slain.
