Satou Eiko (32) wa Hero ni Nareta no ka

Without warning, ordinary homes across the world began inexplicably linking to an entirely different dimension. This sudden convergence brought catastrophic consequences, as terrifying creatures known as Invaders poured through these newly formed gateways. Entire neighborhoods were plunged into chaos, and countless residents met brutal ends at the hands of the relentless monsters that now stalked their hallways and living rooms. For thirty-two-year-old Eiko Satou, this unprecedented nightmare became deeply personal when she was forced to watch someone precious to her die right before her eyes. The traumatic loss shattered her former life, leaving behind a void filled only by grief and an unyielding fury toward the otherworldly beasts responsible for the slaughter. Stripped of everything she once held dear, Eiko makes a solemn vow to transform her anguish into action. She abandons any hope of returning to normalcy, dedicating every waking moment of her existence to a single, consuming purpose: exacting absolute revenge against the Invaders. In a world where ordinary people are thrust into unimaginable horror, Eiko's relentless pursuit of vengeance raises the question of whether a grieving woman can truly rise to become a hero.
