Yume no Yume

Yume no Yume is a manga composed of two distinct stories, the first of which draws its inspiration from the ancient Mesopotamian Epic of Gilgamesh. Set against the rich historical backdrop of early civilization, this narrative reimagines classic mythological elements through a unique and compelling lens. At the heart of the tale is Sdynaza, the pivotal woman responsible for guiding Enkidu to the great city of Uruk. Her journey intertwines with that of Leo, a mysterious figure tasked with the extraordinary duty of serving as a dream guardian. Together, their paths navigate a world where ancient myth and the ethereal realm of dreams converge. As the story unfolds within the legendary walls of Uruk, these characters must confront the profound mysteries connecting waking life to the dreamscape. The narrative explores the delicate balance between human ambition and supernatural protection, offering a fresh perspective on one of history's oldest epics while establishing an intriguing conflict rooted in both mythology and the unseen guardianship of dreams.
