Rondo Capricione

Albert and Nicol are siblings who share a deep passion for figure skating. Both are highly experienced on the ice, yet their dynamic is complicated by an imbalance in public recognition. Despite being the younger of the two, Nicol consistently draws far more attention and admiration from audiences, a disparity that quietly fuels Albert’s growing jealousy. Beneath the surface of their athletic achievements lies a tense sibling rivalry shaped by comparison and unspoken resentment. Tragedy abruptly shatters their world when their parents are killed in a devastating accident. The same catastrophic event leaves Nicol permanently blinded, stripping away the sight he once relied upon to navigate the rink. For any ordinary skater, such a loss would mark the end of a career, but Nicol refuses to surrender his connection to the ice. Even in darkness, his determination to skate remains entirely unbroken. Now, the brothers must confront a profoundly altered reality. Albert is forced to grapple with his lingering envy while facing the sudden absence of their parents and the immense burden of his brother's new disability. Together, they must find a way forward in a world defined by grief, where Nicol’s unwavering will to skate challenges everything Albert thought he understood about ambition, family, and resilience.
