TAMAYOMI: The Baseball Girls

During her junior high school years, talented pitcher Yomi Takeda faced a frustrating limitation on the baseball diamond. Because her team's catcher could not match her skill level, she was forced to hold back her signature pitch, known as the "Magic Throw." Unable to fully utilize her greatest strength during a crucial inter-school tournament, Yomi watched her team fall short of advancement. Disheartened by this regret, she made the difficult decision to abandon the sport entirely after graduation, enrolling at Shin Koshigaya High School specifically because it lacked a baseball club. However, fate intervenes when Yomi unexpectedly reunites with Tamaki Yamazaki, a childhood friend she had long since lost touch with. The two girls used to play catch together as children, and Tamaki spent her own junior high years honing her skills as a catcher. Most importantly, Tamaki possesses the rare ability to handle Yomi's formidable Magic Throw. This reunion offers the pair a chance to finally fulfill the promise they made to each other in their youth. Together once more, they step back onto the path of baseball to chase their shared dream. The first episode pre-aired on March 8.
