Kami Maneki no Niwa

In the province of Kabutozaka, a sacred harem exists not for earthly pleasures, but as a divine sanctuary where gods are welcomed and honored. These corporeal deities hold immense power over the land, bestowing fertility and prosperity upon the people when appeased. However, their wrath carries catastrophic consequences, threatening to unleash devastating disasters upon the entire country should they become enraged. Ayame, the daughter of a local county lord, journeys to Tokyo driven by a desperate need to uncover the truth behind her best friend's mysterious death. Her investigation takes an unexpected turn when she inadvertently manages to soothe a furious goddess. Witnessing this remarkable feat, Niran, the king's younger brother, formally appoints Ayame as a court lady within the sacred harem. Yet, this sudden elevation into divine service is far from a simple reward. Instead, it marks the beginning of a much larger and more dangerous crisis. As Ayame navigates her new role among volatile deities and royal politics, she finds herself drawn into a looming incident that could ultimately threaten the very fate of the nation.
