Boku wo Shirita Sugiru Shimizu-san

Atago Gato is a quiet, withdrawn high school student who keeps to himself and avoids drawing attention. However, his carefully guarded routine is disrupted during preparations for the school festival when Shimizu Roman, a bright and popular classmate, accidentally discovers his secret ambition to become a manga artist. To his surprise, instead of dismissing him, she becomes genuinely fascinated by his dream. Despite appearing to belong to an entirely different social world, the cheerful girl begins approaching him with an endless stream of unexpected questions, slowly breaking through his reclusive shell. As their interactions deepen, Atago eventually opens up about a painful past experience involving harsh criticism he received on social media, which left him deeply traumatized. Determined to help him move forward, Shimizu decides to support him in her own uniquely unconventional way, pushing him to confront his fears rather than hide from them. Together, the gloomy boy and the endlessly energetic girl form an unlikely partnership centered around creating manga. Their contrasting personalities lead to a series of humorous and heartfelt moments as they navigate the challenges of artistic ambition and personal growth, forming the foundation of a charming youth romantic comedy about overcoming insecurities side by side.
