Shisei

"Shisei" is a manga anthology comprising ten distinct short stories, each exploring its own unique narrative and thematic landscape. The collection opens with the intriguingly titled "The Catcher In The Chocolate," followed by a diverse array of tales including the supernatural-tinged "Mononokeno," the slice-of-life misadventure "Wrong Apartment," and the evocative "Kouu Kozou." The anthology continues to showcase a wide variety of storytelling styles through entries such as the elegant "Étoile," the whimsical "Three Little Aurora Boys," and the culturally resonant "Mentsu." The centerpiece of the collection is the two-part title story, "Shisei," which anchors the volume before it concludes with the sweet, final vignette "Cinnamon." Together, these ten interconnected yet independent works form a comprehensive showcase of the author's creative range and storytelling versatility.
