The Island of Giant Insects Movie

When a plane carrying students on a school trip crashes, Oribe Mutsumi and her classmates find themselves stranded on what appears to be an uninhabited island. Taking charge of the dire situation, Mutsumi locates the other survivors and immediately applies her extensive knowledge of wilderness survival to keep them alive. She calculates that rescue teams will likely reach them within three days, offering the group a glimmer of hope that their ordeal will be brief and manageable. However, this fragile optimism shatters when the students discover that the island is far from deserted. The landscape is infested with enormous, deadly insects that pose a constant threat to their lives. As the giant creatures begin hunting the stranded teenagers, Mutsumi realizes that standard survival tactics are no longer sufficient. Her deep understanding of entomology—specifically the behaviors and vulnerabilities of butterflies, wasps, and other species—becomes the group's most vital weapon. In a desperate race against time, her expertise may be the only thing standing between her classmates and a gruesome fate before rescue finally arrives.
