Dorabase: Doraemon Super Baseball Gaiden

Dorabase: Doraemon Super Baseball Gaiden follows the journey of a unique baseball club formed entirely by robotic cats. Although the familiar character Doraemon makes an appearance at the very beginning of the story, he is not the central focus. His early departure is necessary, as he must travel back to the past to assist Nobita, leaving the narrative to unfold around his successors. In his absence, the team is led by Kuroemon, a robotic cat who closely resembles Doraemon but is distinguished by his black fur and a pair of visible ears. Under his guidance, this newly assembled squad steps onto the diamond to compete in a highly unconventional version of the sport. The matches are defined by their reliance on extraordinary, imaginative abilities rather than standard athletic skills alone. To maintain a sense of balance during these intense games, a special rule governs the competition: each team is permitted to deploy a maximum of three gadgets throughout a match. This restriction forces the robotic feline players to strategize carefully, deciding exactly when to unleash their technological advantages. The resulting clashes blend traditional baseball dynamics with fantastical gadget-driven plays, creating a thrilling and unpredictable sporting experience.
