Yukiyo Fujimoto is approaching his thirtieth birthday without a stable career or any romantic experience to speak of. Just as his prospects seem entirely bleak, his phone unexpectedly floods with messages from several women he once knew. His long-awaited "moteki"—a sudden surge in romantic popularity—has finally arrived, striking him multiple times all at once. Each woman brings a distinct connection to his past. Aki Doi, a former coworker and music enthusiast, invites him to a rock festival where sparks fly beneath the night sky. Itsuka Nakashiba, an amateur photographer, reaches out seeking both advice and companionship. Natsuki Komiyama, another previous colleague and old crush, mysteriously reappears and seamlessly inserts herself into his circle of friends and family. Meanwhile, Naoko Hayashida, a former high school classmate known for her delinquent youth, returns to their hometown with a new appearance that leaves him wondering if her true nature has changed at all. With so many options suddenly available, Yukiyo faces a profound personal dilemma. While the stage for romance seems perfectly set, neither he nor these women may truly be ready for love.
