Hentatsu

Hentatsu centers on the journey of two young girls who find themselves navigating a strikingly desolate version of Nakano Broadway. This real-world Tokyo shopping complex is widely celebrated as a premier destination for pop culture enthusiasts, renowned for housing Mandarake and numerous other specialty retailers dedicated to anime, manga, and collectible merchandise. However, in this narrative, the usually bustling commercial hub has been transformed into an eerie, seemingly abandoned landscape devoid of its typical crowds and vibrant energy. As the pair ventures deeper into the empty corridors and silent storefronts of the deserted mall, they are left to explore the remnants of a space once defined by its passionate community of fans. The familiar environment, stripped of its usual life and commerce, presents a surreal backdrop for their expedition. Together, the two girls must make their way through this hollowed-out sanctuary of otaku culture, uncovering the quiet mysteries hidden within the vacant halls of a landmark that normally thrives on the boundless enthusiasm of its visitors.
