In the bustling modern city of Hotaru on Earth, seventeen-year-old Izumi Kaivou attends Gunma High School with little ambition or drive. His extreme laziness leaves him struggling to manage even the most basic daily tasks, forcing him to quietly rely on his younger sister for support—a dependence he would never openly acknowledge. Yet beneath his apathetic exterior, Kaivou is plagued by apocalyptic premonitions and bizarre nightmares hinting that no one's life will remain unchanged for much longer. Far beyond Earth, the planet Trilliaus has been pushed to the brink of ruin. Its once-formidable defense forces have crumbled into a fractured militia, leaving only three individuals still dedicated to fighting back. Among them is nineteen-year-old Ryoku Eikiro, who has committed his life to ending the devastation unleashed by the arrival of a mysterious figure known as Zaigou. This enigmatic invader relentlessly searches the dying world for something unknown, leaving destruction in his wake. As Kaivou’s dark visions intensify, the fates of two distant worlds begin to converge toward an inevitable upheaval.
