Fighting Beauty Wulong

Mao Ran is a young woman of Chinese descent who was born and raised in Japan. Under the guidance of her grandfather—a perpetually intoxicated and lecherous old man—she has been rigorously trained in her family’s closely guarded martial arts tradition. Her motivation to endure this grueling regimen stems from a deeply personal promise: her grandfather has sworn to finally reveal the truth behind her parents' mysterious fate, but only if she dedicates herself entirely to mastering their fighting style. Unbeknownst to Mao Ran, however, her grandfather harbors ambitions that extend far beyond private training. Without her knowledge or consent, he secretly enrolls her in "Prime Mat," a highly publicized, televised martial arts tournament exclusively featuring female fighters. Thrust into a brutal competitive arena she never agreed to enter, Mao Ran must now rely on her family's secret techniques to survive against formidable opponents. As she battles her way through the spotlight of Prime Mat, she remains driven by the singular hope that victory will ultimately unlock the answers about her parents she has spent her entire life seeking.
