Yuuan no Kanata

"That is definitely a ghost..." For most people, encountering the supernatural would provoke paralyzing dread, but for Kanata, it represents something entirely different. She is a woman who has inexplicably lost her ability to feel fear, leaving her emotionally hollowed out and disconnected from a fundamental human instinct. Where exactly is the terrifying presence that should shake her to her very core? Driven by a desperate need to reclaim what she has lost, Kanata sets out on a chilling pursuit, determined to track down the elusive entity she refers to only as "it." Rather than fleeing from the horrors that lurk in the shadows, Kanata actively follows their traces, searching for the singular moment when her heart will finally freeze with genuine terror. Her journey transforms into a haunting exploration of the unknown, as she deliberately places herself in the path of the macabre to awaken her dormant emotions. Every clue she uncovers brings her closer to an encounter that could either restore her humanity or plunge her into true darkness. In a world where ghosts are real, her greatest struggle is not surviving the nightmare, but finding the capacity to be afraid of it at all.
