Run x Man

Ganji Sumiki is a manga artist whose mind never truly rests, even when his body is in motion. Every time he laces up his shoes and hits the pavement, his thoughts drift across an unpredictable spectrum of subjects, ranging from profound philosophical questions to utterly absurd and trivial musings. At the heart of his wandering mind lies one persistent curiosity: why do people run in the first place? This seemingly simple question sparks a continuous internal dialogue that accompanies every stride he takes. What unfolds is a genuine road comedy centered entirely around the daily life of this creatively restless mangaka. As Ganji runs through the streets, he simultaneously thinks, rambles, and navigates both the physical path ahead and the chaotic landscape of his own imagination. The series captures the humorous intersection of athletic exertion and mental meandering, transforming a routine jog into a stage for comedic introspection. Through his endless pondering and spirited rambling, Ganji’s journey becomes a uniquely entertaining exploration of a creator who simply cannot stop thinking while on the move.
