Snow Complex

A year ago, on the first day of snowfall, Hye-In witnessed her beloved older sister figure, Jin-Young, with an unfamiliar woman inside her studio apartment. That single moment shattered something within her, leaving her with a deep-seated hatred for snowy days. In the aftermath, Hye-In finally confronted the true nature of her feelings, realizing that her affection for Jin-Young extended far beyond sisterly bonds. However, she also recognized the painful truth: in Jin-Young’s eyes, she could never be anything more than a close younger sister, never a girlfriend. Unable to bear the weight of this unrequited love, Hye-In made the drastic decision to take a leave of absence from school just to avoid her. Following a night out at a party, Hye-In wakes up disoriented and hungover in her own room. Beside her is Jin-Young, who has quietly continued to support her, now gently scolding her with the familiar, overbearing care of an older sister. Frustrated by the suffocating dynamic that always seems to repeat itself between them, Hye-In grows restless. Late into the night, driven by lingering tension and unspoken desires, she resolves to finally act on what feels right within the quiet intimacy of their shared space.
