Side Story of Gundam Z

Side Story of Gundam Z presents a compelling alternate retelling of the events depicted in the original Zeta Gundam series. Set in the turbulent aftermath of the devastating One Year War, this manga reimagines the fates of familiar characters through a drastically altered narrative lens, introducing profound moral conflicts and shifting allegiances that reshape the established timeline. At the center of this reimagined story is Char Aznable, formerly a distinguished captain within the Principality of Zeon. Rather than following his canonical path, Char finds himself cornered by an agonizing personal dilemma when the Titans, a ruthless and elite military faction, take his sister Artesia hostage. With her safety hanging in the balance, he is left with no choice but to submit to their demands, forcing him to assist and ultimately join the very organization that stands opposed to everything he once fought for. Bound by coercion and driven by a desperate need to protect his sister, Char is assigned a grim primary mission: the relentless pursuit and elimination of surviving Zeon remnants. This harrowing directive compels him to hunt down former comrades and allies, plunging him into a deeply personal conflict where loyalty, survival, and familial devotion collide in a fractured postwar landscape.
