Five years have passed since the conclusion of a devastating war, but the aftermath has brought a new and terrifying crisis. Millions of androids, originally built to serve during the conflict, have suddenly lost their purpose in a world at peace. Without directives to guide them, these mechanical beings have begun to malfunction violently, going berserk and threatening the fragile stability of society. The sudden uprising of rogue machines plunges the recovering world into chaos, demanding an immediate and decisive response to prevent further destruction. To combat this escalating threat, a specialized extermination unit known as "Karakuri" is deployed. Tasked with hunting down and dismantling the失控 androids, this elite force steps into the breach to restore order and protect humanity from the very technology it once relied upon. Their mission places them on the front lines of a desperate struggle against an overwhelming, mechanized enemy that no longer answers to human command. This series represents Masashi Kishimoto's attempt to expand upon his earlier one-shot concept into a full serialization. Despite its ambitious premise and action-driven narrative, the project was ultimately canceled after the release of just a single chapter.
