Kitayama's Bookstore for the Supernatural

When a mysterious portal tears open in the back room of an ordinary bookstore, it unleashes a sudden wave of yokai that threatens to plunge all of Japan into ruin. What begins as a quiet workplace quickly transforms into the front line of a supernatural crisis, leaving the staff with no choice but to confront the monstrous forces spilling into the human world. To combat this escalating danger, the bookstore employees form an unlikely alliance with a two-tailed cat. Together, they dedicate their summer to tracking down and capturing the rogue spirits before the damage becomes irreversible. Armed with determination and guided by their feline companion, the team ventures far beyond the shelves of their shop. Their mission takes them deep into the city’s winding streets and shadowy alleys, where dangerous creatures lurk just out of sight. As the heat of the season intensifies, so does the urgency of their hunt. The staff must balance their everyday lives with the heavy burden of protecting their home, turning a simple bookstore into the last line of defense against a looming catastrophe.
